Frequently asked questions
Quick answers for new players. The full details are in the in-game /guide and the rules.
Which versions can join?
Java Edition and Bedrock Edition (Windows, phone and tablet) play together on Survival and the minigames. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch have no Add Server button, so they cannot join yet. Java players need version 26.3, the version the server runs, so pick that profile in the launcher. Bedrock players use the current release; if Bedrock stops connecting after a game update, we post news on Discord.
What is All the Mods 10?
A separate modded server for Java players, whitelisted. It needs the All the Mods 10 modpack on Minecraft 1.21.1, and you join it directly at atm10.joltora.com, not through the hub. Apply to join. The hub, ranks, store cosmetics and the network chat filter are not part of it.
Why does my Bedrock name start with a dot?
So staff can tell the two editions apart. For example .Steve. Java names have no dot. Type the dot in commands that take a player name and in the store.
Is this server for beginners?
Yes, and for veterans too. New players start in the Hub with a starter kit and a guide book, and /guide explains claims, money, skills and teleporting step by step. The rules apply the same to everyone and the server is built with younger players in mind; parents can read the note to parents.
Is it free to play?
Yes. Everything that affects gameplay is earned by playing. The store only sells cosmetics (how you look).
Can I buy an advantage?
No. Ranks, the season pass and tips never give homes, claim blocks, money, items, kits, keys or commands that help you play. Crate keys are earned by playing and are never sold. See store information.
How do I protect my build?
Use the golden Claim Shovel from your starter kit, or type /claim in the middle of your base. Only you and people you trust (/trust <name>) can build or open chests inside. Unclaimed land is not protected. /claimhelp explains it in game.
Someone griefed me. What now?
Use /report <name> <reason> or /helpop <message> on Survival. Staff keep grief logs and can roll builds back.
How do I get to Survival or another mode?
You arrive in the Hub. Open the compass in your hotbar and pick a mode. /hub brings you back.
How do ranks work?
Earned ranks (Sprout to Mythic) are free and come from time played on any of our servers; time spent AFK does not count. Supporter ranks (Supporter, Patron, Champion, Legend) come from the store and are cosmetic only. /ranks shows them and /profile shows your progress.
How do I earn crate keys?
Play 5 minutes a day for a daily key, keep a login streak for bigger keys, vote with /vote, and rank up. Nothing random is ever for sale.
How does the store work?
You enter your Minecraft name, see the exact price, and pay on a page run by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. You can also leave a tip, which unlocks nothing. The perk is added in game, usually within a few minutes; if you have never joined, it waits until you do. See refunds.
I am under 18. Can I buy things?
Ask a parent or guardian first. Read the note to parents.
Why was I muted?
The chat filter blocks hateful words, links, adverts and spam. Keep tripping it and you are muted for a while. Bans and mutes are logged with a reason. To appeal, use the appeal channel on Discord or email scwunge@ender.bio.
When does the server restart?
Survival restarts every day at 05:00 New York time, with warnings 15, 5 and 1 minutes before. Quests reset at midnight New York time. Event dates are announced on Discord.
Do my claims expire?
A claim can be removed if its owner does not log in for 60 days (unless they own a lot of claim blocks). Come back before then and it stays yours.
Where do I get help?
In game: /guide and /rules. On Discord. By email: scwunge@ender.bio.
