Terms of Service

1. Who we are and acceptance

These terms apply to your use of the Joltora server network, the website at joltora.com, our Discord and our store (together, the "Service"), run by Scrunge ("we", "us"). By connecting, buying or using the Service you accept these terms and our Rules, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

2. Eligibility and minors

You need your own legitimate copy of the game. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service and to make purchases. Players under 13 (or the minimum age in their country) may play only with verifiable parental consent as described in our Privacy Policy. Discord has its own age rules.

3. Conduct and punishments

You must follow the Rules. We may warn, mute, kick or ban you, roll back or remove content, and restrict accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, when we think it is needed to keep the Service safe. Purchases do not exempt you from the Rules.

4. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft

Joltora is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. We operate under Mojang's EULA and Commercial Usage Guidelines.

5. Virtual items, ranks and cosmetics

• Everything we sell is cosmetic and has no gameplay effect. We do not sell random rewards.
• A purchase is a limited licence to use a cosmetic on the Service. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and is not property.
• Ranks are permanent for as long as the Service runs, unless removed under section 3. We may change, rebalance or retire individual cosmetics, and will offer a fair replacement or refund if we remove something you paid for. [Owner to confirm]
• Seasonal items may only be available for a limited time.
• Trading accounts, items or ranks for real money is not allowed.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe (our store: https://joltora.com/store-info.html) and are also subject to Stripe's terms and privacy notice. We never see or store your card details. You are responsible for entering the correct username. Prices are shown at checkout and may change. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. See the Refund Policy. Chargebacks or payment disputes opened without first contacting us may lead to removal of the purchase and a ban.

7. Availability, worlds and data

The Service is provided for fun and may change, pause or end at any time (for example for maintenance, new seasons or world resets). Worlds, builds and progress are not guaranteed to be kept forever. We make backups but cannot guarantee against loss.

8. Content you create

You keep your rights to what you make, but give us a free right to host and show it on the Service (including screenshots and videos for promotion), and to remove it.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived. [Legal review: confirm for the owner's country and your players' regions]

10. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. Continued use means you accept the new version, and we will mention material changes on our website or Discord. These terms are governed by the laws of Guernsey, subject to mandatory consumer rights where you live. Contact: scwunge@ender.bio.
